Designers Paolo de Lucchi and Giorgia Paganini were thinking of old honeycomb paper carnival decorations as they hatched their 2-foot-diameter Joy pendant. Thirty zigzag plates of methacrylate fan around a polished chrome center to create the exploding three-dimensional honeycomb. Choose incandescent or fluorescent lamps for either the pendant or flush-mount.
